In an interview with RMC Sport, Evan Fournier, full-back of the French team and the Orlando Magic, talks about his passion for Koh-Lanta, a show in which he would like to participate.
Every Friday night, he was one of the most frequent top athletes to comment on Koh-Lanta on his Twitter account. In an interview with RMC Sport, Evan Fournier spoke of his great passion for the show pitting several adventurers ed. He even participated in the last issue through a message broadcast on the show, praising the performance of all participants.
One in particular blew him away: Claude, who will be invited to Team Duga (6pm-8pm), Tuesday. Impressive in the events where he collected victories, the big favorite for the victory finally failed to make a march of the final by falling in the famous event of the poles. A heartbreaker for his many fans, including Evan Fournier.
“Claude was teaching others about their phony morality”
“It was a day of frustration,” he smiled. But it was predictable, because unfortunately it’s not a test for the big ones. But it was a really great season.”
“I’ve always liked Koh-Lanta,” he adds. I’m not expressing it anymore. It’s become almost a trademark. People are waiting for me to comment during the episodes. But I’ve always watched Koh-Lanta since the first few seasons.”
Evan Fournier also says he really enjoys Naoil, the final winner of the show’s 2020 season, a contestant with “real values”, like Claude, whose failure he is struggling to recover from.
“He was one of the best but he was constantly in danger,” he adds. He was doing well every time. On top of that, he was teaching others about their phony morality… Unfortunately, Koh-Lanta is also that: people who are not strong who ally and pull out phony stuff. He lectured Inès (beaten in the final and criticised for his low participation on the camp), it was just beautiful.”
“If one day Koh-Lanta contacts me, I will”
What’s next for Evan Fournier: a turnout? He would go without thinking but do not forget the basic niche of the show. “I don’t know if it’s going to be possible,” laughs the former Nanterre and Poitiers player. Denis (Brogniart, the presenter) said, Koh-Lanta, it’s done by anonymous people for anonymous people. I think it’s a very nice slogan. If one day Koh-Lanta contacts me, I will. That’s for sure.”
