The NBA will open its first basketball school in Spain

The NBA, in collaboration with T3N Sport & Investment (T3N), announced this Monday the creation of its first basketball school in Spain, which It will be located in Villaviciosa de Odón (Madrid), as part of a large sports complex that is scheduled to open in the autumn of 2021.

T3N is an agency specialized in the creation and development of sports projects that from this Monday became an official partner of the NBA in Spain. An agreement whereby said company will have the exclusive rights for the development of sports and multidisciplinary complexes under the NBA brand.

The new sports complex will have its own educational center, auditorium, internationally approved soccer fields, state-of-the-art gym, swimming pool and residence for 450 people. In addition, it will have a covered pavilion with three basketball courts in which the NBA will display its activity and which will become the headquarters of the first NBA basketball school in Spain with a basketball development program with enrollment open to male and female players between the ages of 6 and 18.

There are currently NBA schools in Brazil, Greece, India and the United Arab Emirates. Spain will join this list in autumn 2021. These academies are focused on accompanying players, parents, coaches and organizations in understanding the improvement process, especially in the development of skills, physical conditioning, as well as the values ​​of the game. like integrity, teamwork, respect, and innovation.
