The Washington Wizards lost their second consecutive game when they were defeated by 120-130 at home on Saturday against the Orlando Magic, but his new acquisition of the base Russell Westbrook made history.Westbrook, traded by the Houston Rockets in exchange for point guard John Wall, did not have his best scoring inspiration, but he was dominant in the rest of the facets of the game to end the game with a triple-double of 15 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists.
The production allowed Westbrook become the fourth player in NBA history to record a triple-double in his team’s first two games.
The previous ones who got them were the legendary members of the Hall of Fame, Oscar Robertson, Jerry Lucas and Magic Johnson (twice).
But Westbrook, 32, is the first player to do so with a new team.
